Horseshoe Bay is a world-class residential and resort community developed in the early 1970's. It lies on the shores of Lake LBJ, one of the seven Highland Lakes formed by the damming of the Colorado River.

The average temperature is 52 degrees in the winter and 84 degrees in the summer.
Lake LBJ is 23 miles long with 150 miles of shoreline and is kept at a constant level. This means that, not only are the boating and fishing always great, but it also offers the opportunity to build a home on the water's edge without worry.
