Welcome to the festival that upholds great TEXAS traditions with exceptional music in the pinnacle of everything Texans love. Join this Texas sized gathering at the House Pasture Cattle Co. A premier music entertainment facility on one of our favorite “playgrounds”, The Frio River, 1801 River Road.
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. This community focused event provides Kendall County families of all ages with the opportunity to enjoy and learn about local services and organizations that are available. There will be entertainment and a lot of fun available for the whole family at this event! Main Plaza.
Cost: Free. Arts & Crafts Fair open and free to the public. Food and entertainment. 17740 St Hwy 16 North.
Folkfest features living history re-enactments, pioneer craft demonstrations, free furniture museum tours, children’s activities, musical entertainment and delicious food. Heritage Village, 1370 Church Hill Drive.
The 2012 festival will be held at Wildseed Farms, 100 Legacy Drive. The festival hours are 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Enjoy wine from Texas wineries, accompanied by delicious offerings from participating hill country restaurants and specialty food manufacturers.
We'll be serving up red beans & rice, boudin, gumbo, and - of course - crawfish. Other cajun delicacies are also available for everyone to enjoy, and for those who don't like crawfish (don't like crawfish?!!). Food and fun for all ages are available. The festival will offer a children's area for kids of all ages, and arts & crafts will be there for your shopping pleasure. Downtown Marktplatz (Fredericksburg's beautiful and historic Market Square - 100 block of West Main Street).
Boerne Berges Fest is a three day family oriented German heritage festival. Fri festivities open with the crowning of the new Miss Berges Fest. Music is provided by one of Texas’ finest German bands, the Boerne Village Band, playing traditional German folk tunes. On Sat lace up your tennis shoes for the 2nd annual Boerne Berges Fest 5K Lederhosen Run. Sat morning is the Berges Fest parade traveling down Main Street. After the parade head over to the main plaza where all of the the activities will take place. The events begin with the washer pitching tournament, egg toss, dachshund races, and a watermelon eating contest. There is also a carnival with rides for kids of all ages.
